Into the Snow-Sea
M.A.H. Hinton
ripples
on frozen snow
remind us of waves
on a restless lake
on the coldest of days
we long to dive
into the snow-sea
that surrounds
our little town
to kick down deep
through the layers
of winter days
to where we know
the first days
of summer
are already waiting
